Volleyball: Penn State Nittany Lions women's volleyball

The Penn State Nittany Lions women's volleyball team enters the 2023 season as the defending national champions. The Nittany Lions are looking to win their third national championship in four years. They have a lot of talent returning from last year's team, including All-Americans Kaitlyn Hord and Jonni Parker.

The Nittany Lions will be tested early in the season. They open their season with a match against the No. 2-ranked Stanford Cardinal. They will also face No. 3-ranked Wisconsin and No. 4-ranked Texas later in the season.

If the Nittany Lions can get through their tough schedule, they will be in a good position to make a run at another national championship.

Football: Pittsburgh Panthers football

The Pittsburgh Panthers football team is looking to bounce back from a disappointing 2022 season. The Panthers finished 6-7 last year and missed out on a bowl game.

The Panthers have a new head coach in Pat Narduzzi. Narduzzi is a former defensive coordinator at Michigan State. He is known for his aggressive defensive style.

The Panthers have a lot of talent on their roster, including quarterback Kedon Slovis and running back Israel Abanikanda. If the Panthers can stay healthy and play together, they could be a surprise team in the ACC this year.
