Arsenal Win Again, Stay Top of the League
Quick Goals Lead to Arsenal Victory
Arsenal maintained their lead at the top of the Premier League with an edgy 2-1 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.
Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus scored in the first half to give Arsenal a 2-0 lead, but Wolves pulled one back through Hwang Hee-chan in the second half.
Arsenal Dominate Early
Arsenal started the game brightly and took the lead after just five minutes when Saka fired home from close range.
Jesus doubled the lead in the 15th minute with a clinical finish after being played through by Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Wolves Fight Back
Wolves came out fighting in the second half and pulled a goal back through Hwang in the 54th minute.
The goal gave Wolves hope, but Arsenal held on for the win and moved four points clear at the top of the table.
