The Agenzia delle Entrate, Italy's tax authority, has announced that pre-filled tax returns for 2021 (730 form) are now available on the agency's website. Starting May 10, 2021, taxpayers can access their returns through a secure authenticated area of the website using SPID (Sistema Pubblico di Identità Digitale), CIE (Carta di Identità Elettronica), or CNS (Carta Nazionale dei Servizi) digital identity credentials.

The deadline for submitting pre-filled tax returns is September 30, 2021 for the 730 form and October 15, 2021 for the Redditi Persone form. Taxpayers can access and modify their pre-filled returns until the respective deadlines.

The pre-filled returns include information from various sources, such as employers, banks, and insurance companies, to help taxpayers accurately and efficiently complete their tax filings. By reducing the need for manual data entry and ensuring that all relevant information is included, the pre-filled returns aim to simplify the tax filing process for Italian citizens.
